Compatibility with your XBOX 360, PS2, and PC.
When you buy FFXI accounts directly from us, you must make sure that the ffxi account you are purchasing is compatible with your system you plan to play on. Final Fantasy XI currently is compatible to play on your
1). XBOX 360
2). PS2
3). PC
Three Versions of Final Fantasy on Your PC (USA, Europe, Japan)
If you play your ffxi account on your PC, there are 3 different versions of Final Fantasy
1). United States: All countries in North America, Australia, Singapore use this version
2). Europe: All countries in Europe
3). Japan: Most Asian countries.
Before you purchase a FFXI account from us, check the version that is compatible with the account by clicking on our “profile” details it should say what version it accepts in the details box with all the information about the Final Fantasy XI Account. See below for more details.
Required to download USA Version of Final Fantasy XI
Version Of Final Fantasy XI: PC – USA Version
Not required to download anything if you play on XBOX, or PS2
Required to download Europe Version of Final Fantasy XI
Version Of Final Fantasy XI: PC – Europe Version
Not required to download anything if you play on XBOX, or PS2

No additional downloads are required if you purchase a version that is on XBOX or PS2. If you do run into problems playing FFXI accounts on your XBOX, please see this link for more information

You are not required to download anything if you play your FFXI account on your PlayStation 2.
I cannot access my membership, add my credit card, or subscribe to FFXI
After you purchase a Final Fantasy XI Account from us, you may have a problem trying to login to change information in your membership section in PlayOnline. This is because you purchased a FFXI account with a different FFXI version (example you purchased an Europe version when you are currently accessing an USA version). In order to fix this, you will need to download a different version which can be run as a second application on your desktop (it will not overwrite your US version).

I have Vista, and cannot load PlayOnline
A recent update done in 2007 will allow you to play PlayOnline on Vista.
