EXPLOIT IN WOW SYSTEM
There is an exploit in WoW system that is allowing scammers to sell duplicated codes that can be used to activate your WoW Account. These codes are purchased through World of Warcraft website which they use stolen credit cards to purchase them. When a chargeback is filed, that code is then flagged, and if applied to a world of warcraft account causes an account to get suspended. What they then do is sell these wow time codes to internet websites, which then sell them below the normal cost. When you take that code, and then activate it through Blizzard management, your WoW Account is then suspended shortly afterwards.
WHAT TIME CODES ARE AFFECTED?
Codes that are sold on internet websites could be stolen. These are usually codes that are under the cost of what Blizzard is selling on their website. Some of the codes have been found being sold on online forums, ebay, and other related websites. Anyone that speaks to you with a foreign accent (especially chinese), are likely selling you duplicated codes.
WHAT TYPE CODES ARE AFFECTED?
Time codes are sold in 30, 60, 90, and 180 day codes. Any code that was purchased illegally is affected by this recent scam.
