On April 4, 2011, a group of hackers known as Anonymous threatened to declare war on Sony and their network of websites and servers. During this time, Anonymous showed no mercy which subsequently brought down several Sony sites, as well as the PSN to some degree, have released a video promising that the attacks will continue. During this time, the attack didn’t cause any harm to the servers that run Sony Online Entertainment Games such as DC Universe Online, EverQuest, EverQuest, Star Wars Galaxies as well as other top MMO’s.

Anonymous has been any active group that started up over the past year attacking networks previously such as Visa, PayPal and other big companies they feel have caused harm to this world. The group image (seen below) job is to teach big corporations that if they don’t treat people properly, they will fight back and win.

Over the next several weeks, Sony began trying to find ways to fix their PSN Network. During this time, they were temporarily able to get their servers online which affected PS3 Users only.

On May 2, 2011, Sony Online Entertainment announced that all servers for all Sony Online Entertainment games would be effectively shut down as hackers may have stolen the personal information of 24.6 million Sony Online Entertainment users, the company said on Monday. More than 20,000 credit card and bank account numbers were also put at risk. This is in addition to the recent leak of over 70 million accounts from Sony’s PlayStation Network and Qriocity services.

Sony Online Enterainment has quietly informed the public that the estimated time their servers plan to be back up is Late May. However, based on the current circumstances surrounding these recent attacks and there past unrealistic expectations to get these accounts back online, we won’t be shocked if all accounts go back online late in the summer at the earliest. Only time will tell. Please see below for more information

Whenever there is a server merge, you know that the game is dying.

EverQuest is going through another yearly server merge where half the servers are merging with each other. Get ready t take your existing EverQuest Accounts and merge them into a new server which may give you the ability for a free character name change.

All customers who purchase accounts with us should know that if you see an account for sale on an old server, this just means that the character was playing on this specific server before the servers merged.

A virtual economy is sometimes used interchangeably with the term synthetic economy. A virtual economy is an emergent economy existing in a virtually persistent world. This usually contains the exchanging virtual goods for virtual payment of some form and is used in the context of an Internet or online game. People or characters who enter these virtual economies for predominately do so for recreation and entertainment. This being the case, virtual economies lack the aspects of a real economy. For instance, real economies are not considered to be “fun.”

Players or characters in a virtual reality have no need for the driving forces that are the basis for real economies. Characters have no need for employment for wages as they do not have any physical needs. Virtual people need not purchase food, clothing, shelter, not health care, as they have no biological needs at all. This is not to say that some people do interact with virtual economies for “real” economic benefit.

Straight from wikipedia for those who need some clarification of the virtual world. Our website offers secure buying and trading of wow accounts, ffxi accounts, everquest accounts, and other great sources of MMO characters for over 15+ games.

The Complete Guide For EverQuest Character Name Changes
One of the greatest things EverQuest offers is the ability to change your new characters name at any given time. We highly recommend this option when purchasing an EverQuest account as it gives you the freedom to start fresh with a brand new reputation in game. This easy to use guide can explain how you can go about properly changing your characters name securely.

What is the fee?
Up to 8 characters (all of which must be in a single account) per request – $49.95

In addition to the fees described above, if you are a resident of an European Union country, you will also be charged a VAT tax equal to 17.5% of the applicable fee.

What are some important things I need to know?
- Characters must be at least level 6 or above
- You may change your characters name once every 6 months.
- Sometimes your request is not approved, especially if the other name is taken on the server. Make sure that you change your name to something that has not already been taken. If your everquest accounts are denied the ability to change your characters name, don’t worry because you can try again.
- You can rename up to 8 characters at a time.
- If you wish to rename characters on different accounts, you will need to submit a separate request for each account.

How secure is this, and do we recommend it?
Yes, we highly recommend it. It’s always good to have a new reputation, and some people in game can be rather rude. Our one of few recommendations is to change your characters name.

In terms of security, it is completely safe. In several years, we have never heard any complaint or problem from any individual in terms of changing your characters name.

What information do I need to transfer it?
Just the login, password, and secret word. In order to obtain the secret word, you must purchase the Complete Information Package by visiting your shopping cart, adding the item to your cart, and checking out. The process is very simple, and in around 1 to 72 hours, you will receive your secret word.

How do I pay for this?
In order to complete the transfer, you will need a valid major credit card. Just as if you were subscribing to EverQuest, they require a major credit card to complete this process. There are not game time cards for this process, you will have to use a credit card.

If you want to be as secure as possible, we recommend purchasing a $55 and up pre paid credit card from any major retail store such as Wal Mart, Target, Walgreens, Best Buy, or any other store that may sell pre paid credit card(s).

Where do I go to do this?
Click here to change your characters name today!

Enjoy your brand new everquest account, and play safe!
