• Anonymous has been any active group that started up over the past year attacking networks previously such as Visa, PayPal and other big companies they feel have caused harm to this world. The group image (seen below) job is to teach big corporations that if they don’t treat people properly, they will fight back and win.

• Over the next several weeks, Sony began trying to find ways to fix their PSN Network. During this time, they were temporarily able to get their servers online which affected PS3 Users only.

• On May 2, 2011, Sony Online Entertainment announced that all servers for all Sony Online Entertainment games would be effectively shut down as hackers may have stolen the personal information of 24.6 million Sony Online Entertainment users, the company said on Monday. More than 20,000 credit card and bank account numbers were also put at risk. This is in addition to the recent leak of over 70 million accounts from Sony’s PlayStation Network and Qriocity services.

• Sony Online Enterainment has quietly informed the public that the estimated time their servers plan to be back up is Late May. However, based on the current circumstances surrounding these recent attacks and there past unrealistic expectations to get these accounts back online, we won’t be shocked if all accounts go back online late in the summer at the earliest. Customer Service Notification May 2, 2011 Dear Valued Sony Online Entertainment Customer: Our ongoing investigation of illegal intrusions into Sony Online Entertainment systems has discovered that hackers may have obtained personal customer information from SOE systems. We are today advising you that the personal information you provided us in connection with your SOE account may have been stolen in a cyber-attack. EverQuest is going through another yearly server merge where half the servers are merging with each other. Get ready t take your existing EverQuest Accounts and merge them into a new server which may give you the ability for a free character name change.

What are some important things I need to know?
- Characters must be at least level 6 or above
- You may change your characters name once every 6 months.
- Sometimes your request is not approved, especially if the other name is taken on the server. Make sure that you change your name to something that has not already been taken. If your everquest accounts are denied the ability to change your characters name, don’t worry because you can try again.
- You can rename up to 8 characters at a time.
- If you wish to rename characters on different accounts, you will need to submit a separate request for each account.

How secure is this, and do we recommend it?
Yes, we highly recommend it. It’s always good to have a new reputation, and some people in game can be rather rude. Our one of few recommendations is to change your characters name.

In terms of security, it is completely safe. In several years, we have never heard any complaint or problem from any individual in terms of changing your characters name.

What information do I need to transfer it?
Just the login, password, and secret word. In order to obtain the secret word, you must purchase the Complete Information Package by visiting your shopping cart, adding the item to your cart, and checking out. The process is very simple, and in around 1 to 72 hours, you will receive your secret word.

How do I pay for this?
In order to complete the transfer, you will need a valid major credit card. Just as if you were subscribing to EverQuest, they require a major credit card to complete this process. There are not game time cards for this process, you will have to use a credit card.

CAN I TRANSFER TO A NEW ACCOUNT
You will not be allowed to transfer any characters to an account that is not yours and that was not originally registered by you. However it must be registered in the original owners first name. Similar to World of Warcraft, they will not allow you to transfer to a new account that is not in your name. However, with Station Exchange, and ordering the “complete information package” on our site, you can transfer it over to your existing account if you have all the original registration information.
