Final Fantasy XI has increased their level limit to Level 95 and we will now be offering FFXI Accounts as high as Level 95.

The FINAL FANTASY XI roadmap for the twelve-month period commencing April 2011 has been released.

April – September 2011
——————————————————————–
Three version updates are slated for this period.

Generally, major patches will see the release of new content, whereas minor patches will focus on the refinement of existing features. Job adjustments will form part of all version updates, though the scope of changes may vary.

May Major Version Update
“Voidwatch,” a new battle system designed with high-level adventurers in mind, will be introduced alongside new battlefields in order to reinvigorate existing areas. Rounding off the host of battle-related improvements planned for this patch is a major overhaul of Dynamis, which will include monster redistribution.

Playability-enhancing tweaks are also in the pipes, such as an auction house merger and delivery system improvements.

June Minor Version Update
This version update will revolve around fine-tuning content introduced in May.

August Major Version Update
The level cap will be raised to 95 and accompanied by a broad range of changes; new content and job abilities will be added, and existing ones adjusted. This penultimate stage in the level cap increase will usher in large-scale changes while preserving balance in anticipation of the impending final rise to level 99.

The test server will be launched as the testing and fine-tuning grounds for new content being planned, and can be considered a realm wherein adventurers can experience new features under development. More details regarding the server will be made available in the near future.

July – September 2011: Test Server to Go Live
In conjunction with the test server, subforums dedicated to hosting player feedback will be established in the official forums, the two combining to mark the birth of a new development cycle as outlined below.

1)           Content under development
2) Content announced via the test server and official forums
3)           Testing
A)           Player testing and feedback
B) Testing by Development and QA teams
4)           Fine-tuning
Balancing and debugging based on the findings of step 3; test server updated
(*Repeat from step 2)
5)           Version update released

——————————————————————–

October 2011 – March 2012
——————————————————————–
With the introduction of the test server, we intend to shift from alternating between major and minor patches to more frequent version updates, each of which will host the latest fruit of the new development and testing cycle.

Near the end of March 2011, FFXI did some server merges as the population of Final Fantasy XI and the total subscribers continue to decrease. Here is information on the servers that merged.

Ramuh -> Bahamut
Alexander -> Shiva
Titan -> Phoenix
Gilgamesh -> Curbuncle
Unicorn -> Fenrir

Each race will look close in appearance to the races in Last Fantasy XI. Even the names of the races are like the ones found in ffxi when you play your ffxi accounts : Hyuran, Lalafell, Elzen, Miqo’te, and Roegadyn. The classes are also shown, each with its own subcategories : Fighter ( Archer and Swordsman ), Magician ( Enchanter and Magician ), Crafter ( Blacksmith and Cook ), and Gatherer ( Gardener and Fisherman ). At the years’s E3 Expo, Square Enix commented FFIV will release sometime during 2010.

The little quantity of data surrounding Square Enix’s next MMO is shaping up nicely. I welcome the team’s dramatic exit from the common experience point system, and perhaps that implies FFIV will be more action-oriented. Also, the excess of latest information supports Colossally’s speculation the FFIV beta will start in September. I hope all this is true, because a last Fantasy game hitting its initial release window would be an once-in-a-lifetime event to witness.

According to a statement made today by Snowstorm , StarCraft II : Wings of Freedom may not be prepared to launch by the end of 2009, but should be released in the initial half of 2010. While this will not really be MMO stories, we all know Blizzard fans may have an interest in the update, particularly with BlizzCon right round the corner. Also, it seems like work on the new Battle.net is causing the delay. According to the post, “it has become clearer that it will take more time than anticipated to prepare the new Battle.net for the launch of the game. The upgraded Battle.net is an essential part of the StarCraft II experience and may be an essential part of all of our games moving forward.” You can read the full statement below.

“Today we claimed that StarCraft II : Wings of Freedom won’t be prepared for release by the end of 2009. Over the last couple of weeks, it’s become clear that it’ll take more time than predicted to prepare the new Battle.net for the launch of the game. The upgraded Battle.net is a vital component of the StarCraft II experience and should be an essential part of all our games moving forward. This additional development time will be critical to help us realize our vision for the service.”

“Our mission is to develop games that deliver a classic entertainment experience.”

“As a part of that commitment, we’ll always take as much time as wanted to make sure that our games and services meet the expectancies of our players and the standard for quality that we set for ourselves as developers. As we’re employed to make Battle.net the premier online gaming destination, we’ll also continue to shine and refine StarCraft II, and we’re looking forward to delivering a real-time system gaming experience deserving of the series’ inheritance in the first part of 2010.”

As always we plan to to buy and sell ffxiv accounts, ffxiv account, and continue to sell numerous ffxi account characters.

At E3, developers for Final Fantasy XIV stated that more than creating a bigger and better MMO, they wished to create a bigger and better “Final Fantasy.” They said this...

At E3, developers for Final Fantasy XIV stated that more than creating a bigger and better MMO, they wished to create a bigger and better “Final Fantasy.” They said this new generation of technology will give them the opportunity to represent the Final Fantasy series more accurately than ever before. What does that mean though?

We’ve got the wildly glorified Last Fantasy XIII, which is the first numbered entry on the Playstation three. It is positively going to bump the series ( and the hardware ) to new technological heights. On the other hand, The four Light Soldiers : Last Fantasy Gaiden for the Nintendo DS looks to be a total leap into the past. Both games are being designed using “Crystal Tools.” This is a set of development tools created by Square Enix to allow for maximum control over the process of creating a game.

There will be advances in customization and flexible. Apparently, this can make for an allowance for a much wider range of characters ( facial expressions, hair styles, body types ) and monsters ( for those tired of crab hunting ).

The battle system is another massive puzzle of Last Fantasy XIV. Developers of Last Fantasy XIII stated in this week’s Famitsu that magic and special attacks will be extraordinarily explosive and flashy. Taking a look at the scenes from the trailer for Last Final Fantasy XIV, we’ve got an enormous clash taking place on top of a ship and a very strong battle in the sky between flying didgeridoos.

It seems like there’ll be plenty of action with ffxiv accounts. But if this is the case, Square Enix wants to execute much more control for Computer users to cut back the load on their machines in order to reach a quicker refresh rate. Another alternative way Last Fantasy XIII is breaking away from the conventional is thru combat. Two of the main characters were featured this week, one battling with a boomerang, and the other with fishing wire.

Apparently, there’s going to be more method concerning something that sounds like what last ffxiv (ffxiv account) developers expounded about the vision for their MMO at EIII. They voiced their need to make combat more intellectual.

The expansion of each personality would be tied to the player’s weapon of choice. Now, in Last Fantasy XIII, the main personality Hope, who uses a boomerang, fights by amassing damage with multiple strikes. While Vanilla, supplied with fishing wire, hooks multiple lines into the enemy for enormous damage. Engaging, to say the least.

In Last Fantasy XI, you essentially just get to slap the enemy regardless of what the choice of weapon. Will your ffxi accounts afford the player this level of variety when controlling the actions of their personality in battle?

One other thing we all know about Last Fantasy XIII is that it’ll be a single-player experience. It’ll be an RPG thru and thru, with a long, engaging story. Developers for Last Fantasy XIV have also been clear that Last Fantasy XIV will supply much tougher solo play and be much more story-driven, like the Chains of Promathia growth for Last Fantasy XI.

However, there was heaps of talk lately about MMO-addiction and the way internet games can eat into private lives because of the enormous period of time that’s requied from their players. Will an MMO that’s story-driven need plenty of time to get the full experience and be pleased with the story?

Precisely how solo-friendly Last Fantasy XIV will be is not known, but we will be able to be sure Square Enix will wish to avoid some of the negative press it has received, both in Japan and abroad. Negative press about players’ lives being adversely impacted by Last Fantasy XI.

Now, on the flip side of the final Fantasy coin, we have got the impending DS title, The 4 Light Soldiers : Final Fantasy Gaiden. One glance at the screenshots, and you can tell this is meant to be a game that reaches back to the roots of Last Fantasy. There is a four personality party of “Light Warriors.” The game employs a job system and comes complete with wonderful lil’ costumes for every one. These costumes that represent roles, dubbed “Artifact Armor” in Last Fantasy XI, have been a favorite among players, though.

Per Last Fantasy XIV, we have seen a glance of what could be Black Mage Artifact Armor in the suggested art wall decoration, but their inclusion hasn’t been confirmed. While Last Fantasy Gaiden seems to keep the custom of job explicit costumes alive, there’s also a marked change in style. We haven’t seen a lot of the Last Fantasy XIV clothing, so one has to wonder if they’re going to make some creative alterations to what we are familiar with.

Some players have moaned the races are too like Last Fantasy XI and it makes the new MMO feel just like kind of a rehash. Would recycling Artifact Armor styles also generate criticism? Or, would the lack of the final Fantasy fashion we are so used to be even worse?

This week’s Famitsu also gave a glance of a “Crown” system which will permit Last Fantasy Gaiden players to switch roles. Developers for Last Fantasy XIV have also shown their interest in maintaining a job system of some type. While they wish to vary from the final Fantasy XI job system, they want to keep the flexibility it provided. It might be that changing a chunk of gear ,eg the weapons claimed to be so integral to one’s expansion, could make possible the changing of one’s job.

GENERAL
FFXI works on a monthly payment basis that operates through PlayOnline when you access your ffxi accounts. Final Fantasy XIV will not be using PlayOnline, but it will be using the recently established Square Enix Member Accounts and Security Tokens.

The developers plan on having a different system altogether with Final Fantasy 14, opting for a more versatile plan. They plan to process payments on a 30-day cycle, allowing the less serious gamers to stop paying more easily.

Final Fantasy 11 players will recognize the frustrations behind the current billing cycle and how the registration servers go off for a few days every month in order to process payments. This leads players being unable to activate or deactivate their ffxi characters as well as edit billing information. So, in the event you’ve changed cards and forgot to change it, you’d be locked out of the game for a few days. The development team insists that with this new billing method, this won’t be a problem anymore.

All I have to say is thank you because the PlayOnline system was awful and one of the things that ruined the game all together. Accessing your FFXI account should be a simple step process, and PlayOnline did none of that!

Rest assured, we will be offering FFXIV accounts as soon as the game beta launches!

What is world transfer?
Final fantasy allows you to transfer a character from server to server. The feature is called “world transfer” which allows you to take a character putting all their equipment, items, job levels, and skills, from their current world to another of your choosing. Now you can enjoy FFXI accounts in any open world in final fantasy.

How does it work?
Final fantasy 11 requires an one-time fee of $25 for a single world transfer. With the purchase of the world transfer, you may simultaneously transfer any and all ffxi characters that you have on a content ID for your PlayOnline accounts. The maximum amount of characters you can transfer his 16 total to any different world than ffxi. All it takes is accessing the world transfer option which is under the optional services purchased when accessing playonline and then when logged in. See below for full details.

Step by Step details
In order to transfer, the step-by-step procedure is located below.

1). Choose the service and support option from your play online main menu and proceed to the membership.
2). Choose purchase optional services from the menu
3). Choose the optional service world transfer and then select next.
4). Read through a note regarding world transfers. Check and then agree to the above and begin procedures. The next thing you need to do is select next if you agree to the displayed information.
5). Confirm your characters names and their current worlds, then select the world you would like to transfer to and then click next. Please note you can transfer up to 16 characters at this point.
6). Now it is time to purchase a world transfer. Information regarding characters involved in your world transfer will be displayed on the screen. Confirm that there are no mistakes in the characters names, their current worlds, or the world they will be transferred to before proceeding. If there are no mistakes go ahead and select purchase and continue.
7). Once the procedures have been properly completed the character names and the worlds that they will be transferred to will be displayed on the screen. At this point, the world transfer is now complete, and you may log in to ffxi account and start playing in your new world.
8). Enjoy your FFXI account, and have a safe journey.

Please note, the ability to get a free character name change can be done in this process by selecting a name that is already taken on that existing server. How you do this is go to that server creating new character before you transfer, and then create character. When you go about changing servers, that name will already be taken so by the time you complete your world transfer, you will have to choose a new name as the name has already been taken on that server.

Any other questions reference to the final fantasy website as they provide more detailed information including pictures and other resources.

Final Fantasy is being sued over hidden ffxi fees.

Final fantasy is being taken to court for false advertising, unfair practices and fraudulent concealment in regards mainly to hidden fees revolving around ffxi.

What we know so far is that ffxi apparently ripped off over 100,000 players from its popular online game final fantasy 11 by being not upfront about it monthly fees, penalties, late payments, interest charges, and termination of ffxi accounts for late payments. The lawsuit information was provided by Courthouse news in which a California law firm is representing this case in the Central District of California.

Tough news for final fantasy as they have a long case ahead of them protecting themselves against damages up to $5 million.

What we can tell you about this is that from. We have had similar problems in regards to this lawsuit. Our company has purchased over 2000 final fantasy xi accounts over the past 18 months which some of them have experienced similar problems related to this lawsuit. Breaking them down

The monthly fee penalties we never experienced any problems with along with interest charges. What we did experience problems with were termination payments which we would pay upwards to around $30 per account that had late payments were termination issues. Additional charges from what we see were usually random based on the time account funds or two to final fantasy, and we were never meant and were told anything about any of these charges when first accessing accounts. Overall I am not shocked that this is finally being brought out in District Court and I am happy that hopefully we will never experienced these problems again in the near future.

What is most interesting about this case is that nothing is being brought out about the 90 day policy final fantasy has in which if you do not activate your content IDs which are used to access final fantasy then your account will be permanently deleted. The problem with this is that how is that fair for people overseas, people that have jobs, people that are busy, and so on final fantasy is forcing people to activate and pay subscription fees at least once every 90 days or else your time and energy spent into your ffxi character for your ffxi account will be deleted permanently. We feel that playing a game like this you should not be forced to pay a subscription if you do not want to play the character and for those people that may not have the money to pay for such urgency this is an outrageous station in final fantasy requires customers to do in order to play their game.

What is most outrageous is the fact that this was never brought up in this lawsuit and that we along with thousands of other people are victims of final fantasy’s rash decision to delete content IDs for your ffxi accounts after spending how much money to play their game on past subscription fees. Hopefully in the near future this will be brought out a lawsuit or added to this current lawsuit because though it is a virtual world and it is their game things need to change in order for customers to continue playing their game. If anything this is what the lawsuit should have been about.

Having problems playing FFXI on your XBOX?
Want to buy an account, but not sure if you can play it on your console system?

These are common questions asked above, so we figured we’d provide you a guide on how to properly play your FFXI account on your console system.

How it works?
PlayOnline is an application that works with Final Fantasy XI. Since XBOX does not control PlayOnline, they require that you purchase an online XBOX gamertag (no not GameTag ) for your ffxi account to work on the XBOX 360 console.

How do I purchase a gamertag?
It’s pretty simple. You are required to go to XBOX 360 website with the link provided at the bottom of the page. There you will be able to purchase a gamertag, and merge it with your ffxi accounts that you purchase.

Running into technical issues?
The best place is to contact XBOX or PlayOnline directly for questions and answers on your final fantasy xi account.
